Regular Visits to Our North Houston Office

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many patients become concerned that every visit will be of equal length.

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

In a word: no. A typical office visit may require just 15-25 minutes.

On arrival, you sign in, and will be taken back to do some therapy, often muscle stimulation with either hot or cold on top. Then you will be adjusted by the doctor. We do periodic re-examinations to make sure that you are healing as expected and getting what you need. These re-exams usually take an additional 10 minutes or so and we'll let you know ahead of time when to schedule those. When you are done, you check out at the front desk, paying your fee for the day and scheduling your next appointment.

But don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value! With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up the condition of your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way.

Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and you can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes.

We recognize your time is valuable. So we do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.

Dr. Erica Asks some important questions of interest to North Houston residents - Chiropractor North Houston Dr. Erica Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many North Houston folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
